Announcing the Sock Summit teachers!
We struggled a lot with what to say about our remarkable cadre of teachers this year. Everything we wrote sounded really prideful, and we finally realized that it's because there's no way around it. We have more than sixty teachers this year, and we think that's the most sock knitting knowledge ever assembled in one place. That's just awesome.
We have some amazing teachers from last time back again, some wonderful teachers who've got a world of experience but are new to us, and in a cool twist, this year we have a few teachers at the beginning of their careers who will be with us as part of our exciting mentorship program. It's designed to show off and support new and notable teachers who aren't yet part of the national teaching circuit, but should be - and we're very proud of it, and them.
Every time we think about this teacher list, we need to have a little lie down. We hope you'll feel the same way.
