Marketplace

We here at Sock Summit think that honesty is the best policy, so here’s what we have to say about the Marketplace this year:

We have fantastic vendors, selling great products, and they would like your business.  When they get your business, we get to keep having them as clients - and that lets us keep putting stuff like this together.  When we designed the Marketplace this year, we did so with those goals in mind, and tried to create a place that deserves to earn your money, and that you’ll never want to leave.

We carefully chose vendors from all over the world, we carpeted the place, we expanded the wildly popular demo areas from last time (there are two now), we’re holding some really fun contests for the hard-core sock knitters, and you can get everything from shoes to yarn to jewelry.  You can get a massage, go to as many demos as you want, sit and knit, get a coffee, make a button, wind your yarn, get your yarn wound, have lunch, ship what you bought back home, go to the Sock Museum, take part in a fastest knitters contest, contribute to charity, watch a race to the sock… heck - we’re trying so hard to make it awesome to hang in the marketplace… it even has a bar.

To put it simply, we think the 2011 Sock Summit Marketplace is even better than last time.  You should come.

If you’re registered to go to an event or class, entrance to the Marketplace is free, just flash your badge. If you’re coming strictly to get into this hall of wonders, the cost is $5 per day, or $15 for all four days.
