Traditional Estonian Socks

Learn about Estonian knitting traditions through their socks.  Students will begin a sock, learning some interesting Estonian techniques: a special cast-on, unique cuff treatment and knitted braids.  A variety of Estonian sock styles will be discussed.  Students should be familiar with using double point needles for this class.

This class has a materials fee of $23. Please bring this amount to class (exact change, and in cash please).

Set of US #1 (2.5mm) or US #2 (2.75mm) double point needles and usual knitting supplies. A kit with yarn for this class and handouts will be provided for a materials fee of $23.00 per student.
