Podcasting for Amateurs
Rank amateurs and curious lookee-loos welcome. In this class, we will examine how podcasts work, discuss what an RSS feed is and how to get one, describe the trials of site feed hosting, and evaluate recording equipment and software.Oh, and a few lucky folks will get to hear their own recorded voice! (You want it. You know you want it!) No needles necessary (but always welcome).

If you have a computer with a microphone, or have a headset mic, bring it on! If you have a Mac, make sure Garageband is still loaded. If you have a PC, download Audacity and its mp3 plug-in. We will all get a chance to record and hear our voices…ew! | |
