Planning for Pooling Success: Making the Most of Handpainted Yarns (1:30-3:30)

We’ve all fallen in love with a hand-dyed yarn, and then had trouble finding just the right pattern to highlight the amazing colours in the yarn.  This lecture will show you some strategies for working with hand-dyed yarns to bring out the colours that you fell in love with, from mitered socks to a brand new faux-argyle sock pattern.  We’ll also cover other kinds of planned pooling projects, including cowls, scarves and stoles, and share some examples of planned pooling in knitting and small weaving projects.
