Natural Dyeing: An Overview
Discover natural dyeing and its wide world of color. Explore which types of plants you can grow in your own backyard that can be used in the dyeing process. And learn about plant and insect dyestuffs from other parts of the world which give magnificent color. We will discuss the dyes themselves and how to use these dyes to create naturally dyed yarn of your very own. Kristine will have a wide spectrum of colors and the dyestuffs used to create them in class.
This class is a one hour wonder that repeats three times in each three hour block it is offered in.
