Knitting for Speed and Efficiency

Want to knit faster? How about smarter or more efficiently?  This class examines the various techniques, attitudes and histories of the most productive sock knitters, and focuses on the “lever knitting” style. This class is designed not necessarily to change how you knit (unless you want to) but to help you become the most efficient knitter you can be on your own terms.

This class is taught by: Stephanie Pearl-McPhee.

Class Level:Intermediate
Class Skills:Students should be able to cast on and knit, and be comfortable working in the round.
Cost:$70.00
Class Length:3 hours
Class Materials:

Yarn: one ball of a smooth, worsted weight yarn that you like, and a few yards/metres of a contrasting colour yarn.
Needles: Please bring your favourite needles (no matter what type), One pair of 14” straight needles and one set of DPN’s, all in a size to match your yarn. (US 6/4.5mm suggested.)
Pen or pencil and paper would also be helpful.
