Getting Out of a Mess

How many socks are languishing because you’re stuck or can’t face the fix? Dig them up and bring them to class! Show up with your worst messes and leave with a sock that is back in progress. We’ll be picking up stitches, looking at ladders, correcting number of stitches, and finding creative solutions that will fix that sock! Find out what kind of fixes YOU are most comfortable with in your work. We’ll give you a Fix Matrix that you can use as a resource for all your sock fixes so that you are the boss of your sock knitting even after you leave class!

This class is taught by: Laurie Drew.

Class Level:This class is appropriate for all levels.
Class Skills:Students should be able to knit and purl, cast on, cast off.
Cost:$70.00
Class Length:3 hours
Class Materials:

-a small amount of light coloured, smooth, plain yarn, bulky weight.
-size US 10 (6mm) needles (circs or dpns, you will be working in the round)
-scissors
-a darning needle
-pen or pencil, and paper.

Homework:

Please bring any socks (finished or in progress)  that are in a mess, have you stumped or didn’t work out. The worse this sock is, the more this teacher wants to see it.
