Yarn: Smooth, light-colored yarn such that student can easily see stitches. Will need about 50 yds, dk- or worsted-weight is best but can do sock-weight if student is very comfortable working with that weight of yarn. Needles: Dpns, two circs or long circular depending on student’s preference in a size appropriate for their yarn. Students do not have to knit to a particular gauge for this class. Notions: Scissors, yarn needle, may want pen/pencil for taking notes, optional crochet hook in same gauge as needles they’re using. | |
