When you spin for sock knitting you have the ability to make a yarn that has all of the qualities you want in your socks; softness, wearability, color, texture and the best structure for your knitting. We’ll have different “ingredients” to use in making unique sock blends, as well as examining and sampling some of the unusual commercial fiber blends available. Come and try some things that you might not have thought of for sock yarn!

This class has a materials fee of $15. Please bring this amount to class (exact change, and in cash please). As well as spinning, so you’ll need to be able to quickly use the singles for plying, lazy kate or other plying device, combs (mini are fine) or hand cards for blending (several sets will be available for use in class). | |
